Smile Organise it and they will come

Penrith - just off the Northern Road. Don't care too much where the Dinner is held - last year we had a nice Chinese meal at Wollongong ( I know this is no good for Seano as he likes Asian not Chinese )

Doesn't Chinese food come under the banner of Asian food ?

Aren't Germans - Europeans ?

I dont think Waterfall station is a good place to start Gav, sometimes the carpark is closed for Buses only. If that happens then we'd be screwed for parking.

Beach reserve seamed like a good place to start last year, whats wrong with that ?

Not sure about riding to Kiama either, you got traffic and then hwy then back through it all again. Whats wrong with sticking around national park?

You could start Beach reserve then up to stanwell through Natio to Bundeena for a regroup drink etc then to Audley. We could go up and out of the park from Audley then travel along past Engadine and onto the hwy for a few k's then back through Natio from Waterfall station. This way you got lots of bends, less traffic and a bit of a hwy run too.

Once we get down to waterfall then we can hang a right back to Stanwell and beyond or hang a left and do it again. Making it up as we go may be a good idea too so we can dodge any traffic etc.

Can head down towards the gong for lunch or even back to Bundeena.

Ideas ? ? ?

Up until now, I didnt have much of a chance of coming along however it is looking pretty good with work.

Day 1 (north), room for improvement since after doing the north section just to get to Kiama by fwy is nothing exiting so I rather extend the loop (north section further) and you got the weekend covered.

Meeting: check this location out, this is still north gong:

This is 5 mins away from my place. The good points: plenty of space to park in carpark or street parking, public toilets, public BBQs area, 500mts to petrol station, 2 mins to the northen distributor to take us northbound to national park ride as well as southbound to Mt keira lookout ride sometime in the afternoon.

For day 2, we can still meet there (if wanted) and head off by car to Albion park to start the ride, alternatively we meed at Albion Park.

Day 2 (south) is spot on, i know the area quiet well and happy to lead the pack, there is few options in how to do the loop. If we take Illawarra HWY going west will take us UP the pass and do the big loop anticlockwise. If we take Terry St we go to Kiama via Jamberoo and complete the loop clockwise finishing with the pass coming from the top.

cheers
Argie
